Our Purpose: To provide 24/7 access to online materials to help you become a 21st century life-long learner.
Policies/Procedures:
1) Students must observe all school rules & regulations
2) A charge of $.05 per day will be charged for overdue materials. Students will be allowed a one-day grace period during which overdue items may be returned. Failure to satisfy obligations will result in the loss of borrowing privileges. Lost materials will be assessed on the latest purchase price.
3) Students who wish to print out materials from the computers in the Media Center will be charged $.05 per page. A charge will not be assessed if the students are researching under the direct supervision of their teacher.
4) Photocopies are free, but require a valid student ID card.
5) The Media Center is meant to be a quiet study space. Any individual who is causing disturbances that prevent others from working will be asked to leave.
6) Food and drinks (except water) are not permitted in the library. Water is not allowed by the computers.
7) Cell phones may not be used in the library.
8) Valuables are the sole responsibility of the owner & should not be left unattended.
9) The Media Center computers (both in the main area & the computer lab) are to be used for educational purposes according to the Board of Education policies. School use always takes priority over recreational use. Students who abuse this privilege in any way are subject to losing the privilege.
